Amazing design, but the mechanism I got seems defenctive

I own 3 Archetype watches and the fourth is coming in September. These are beautiful pieces, especially the Dorian. Tons of compliments. However, after about 2 years the watch stopped winding on my automatic winding machine (others wind fine), and would stop mid-day when I wear it. I sent it to authorized repair and they allegedly replaced the movement, but nothing changed (making me think they didn't really change the movement). So all in all, amazing design at a great price, but the quality is commensurate with the price - you may only get a few years if you are unlucky to get a defective piece. My other two Archetypes work fine.

Great watch - strap is too small but really nice watch.

This time piece is OUTSTANDING! Roman numerals around the dial and small roman 12 on the small dial. It's nice when watch makers don't mix regular numbers and roman numbers. Everything about this watch is really nice and it looks and feels great. It's now my favorite watch in my collection. I wish the strap was metal or longer leather.
