Warranty

Archetype gladly offers a limited warranty covering defects in materials and manufacturing for a period of one (1) year after the original purchase date from an authorized Archetype retailer. This warranty does not cover case, crystal, crown, pushers, straps, or any changes that occur during use and not from manufacturing or assembly. This warranty is considered void if you open your caseback, push the buttons underwater, or expose your watch to moisture beyond the recommendation of the watch’s water resistance rating. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims, so please save a copy of your receipt. Archetype reserves the right to not accept a warranty claim if a watch has evidence of excessive wear or misuse. Archetype reserves the right to repair or replace any watch returned for service at our option.

 

WARRANTY & REPAIR SERVICE

For after sales service, please read all the information on this page and then submit a Service Request here. Please include your model name, SKU and limited edition (XXX/999) that can be found on the back of your watch. We have a service center in the US that can make the necessary repairs. Repair time is typically under 30 days, but it depends on the severity of the issue and the availability of replacement parts.

WATCH CARE TIPS

If your watch band is made of leather, avoid getting it wet. Water will damage the genuine leather.

WATER RESISTANCE

A quick reference guide for the various activities you can expose your watch to under normal circumstances. No matter what the water resistance is, a watch should never be worn in any hot tub, shower, sauna or steam room.

3 ATM = Should not be submerged in water.
5 ATM = Splash Resistant. Suitable for washing hands or light rain. 
10 ATM = Water Sports. Suitable for swimming, surfing, etc. 
30 ATM = Scuba Diving. Suitable for extreme ocean depths.
